The short version: some links may earn Deskfield Lab a commission when you make a qualifying purchase. You do not pay more because you used one of these links.
How affiliate links work
When you follow an affiliate link, the retailer or its affiliate network may use a cookie or another identifier to attribute a later purchase to Deskfield Lab. The retailer completes the sale, collects payment, ships the order, and handles returns. Deskfield Lab does not receive your payment details.
How we mark commercial links
Commission-earning links are labelled “Affiliate link” or placed beside a clear disclosure. They use a sponsored-link attribute so search engines and other services can distinguish them from ordinary editorial sources. Links to manufacturer documentation or cited sources are not automatically affiliate links.
Editorial independence
Commission rates do not determine which products we cover, the order in which they appear, or the conclusion of a guide. A brand cannot pay to remove a drawback, buy a ranking, or approve an independent article before publication.
Prices, availability, and offers
Retail prices, stock, shipping terms, and promotions can change after an article is published. The retailer’s page controls the final price and terms. We do not present an offer as current unless it has been checked, and we remove expired or withdrawn commercial material when identified.
Brand assets and supplied products
Logos, product images, banners, and promotional copy supplied through an affiliate program remain the property of their respective owners. We use approved materials only within the permission granted by that program and remove them when authorization ends or the brand requests removal.
If a product is supplied without charge, or if content is sponsored, that relationship is disclosed prominently in the relevant article. Sponsored material is kept separate from independent rankings.
